The most fundamental definition of obesity is that one’s weight is high enough to pose a health risk to them.

However, while 65 kg is an average weight for a woman who is 5’8, it is a worrisome weight for someone who is 5’2, while a man who is 6’2″ is definitely underweight at that weight.
